My first ever review on an item that I have purchased ever! Reason why I chose to review this product is because it doesn't have one, and I'm more than please and surprised with what I have purchased.

I previously owned a gaming notebook known as the Asus G53, and to say I downgraded would be an understatement... Or is it? sure the high end graphics to play skyrim on ultra settings isn't there, however i am willing to live with the compromise as this Ultrabook is capable of fast web browsing, running multiple application, video streaming in HD Fast, smooth with no slowdown or complications. Reason why got rid of my gaming notebook, is because I'm at university and i need something more convenient to my needs, and this does just that.

the only issue I had with this Ultrabook was the heat it used to give out as it would get very hot within an hour, however that was rectified with a software update that HP provided called 'cool sense'

Battery life lasts up to 6 hours with moderate brightness whilst running web browser iTunes and Microsoft office.

Instant on is also convenient and now experiencing it for the past 3 weeks I probably couldn't go back.

Overall this Ultrabook is brilliant for the price (£314) and I would definitely recommend it to someone who is your average computer user.
