I got the Lenovo Ideapad U410 Touch in a promotion 10 days ago, it was a great price for a ultrabook with a graphic card on it and 8GB onboard.
Built Quality: The aluminum top is good looking but a finger print magnet, also I had a small accident of dropping a laptop charger on the top of it that made a dent on it, lost a small bit of the painting and its marked since the 2nd day I bought, it this happened in my old HP with the plastic cover nothing would happen.
Screen: Very bright and nice colours, being a touch screen laptop its really nice to use with Windows 8.
Speakers: Loud with 5.1 double sorround system but I found that when using it too loud it cause distortion, I have to have a look if changing some settings it will be better.
Keyboard: Good Keyboard for an ultrabook, but the small shift key on the right side sometimes is a bit annoying, just using for a while to get used. No Backlit. For some reason when pressing the keys "G" or "H" it seems to bend all keyboard to inside, I hope it will not break.
Battery Life: It won't get the 8 hours that Lenovo claim, maybe if I put the brightness in the lowest settings, but then it's impossible to use the computer. I get around 6 hours of internet surfing, move streaming... general use.
Performance: I loved how fast this laptop's wi-fi is, getting about 80Mbps constantly with no drops. Hard Drive are not the best as it's a Hybrid HDD+SSD and not a pure SSD, so it's fast to turn on/off but it holds the performance when using it, maybe in the future I will try to upgrade it (Not sure if possible).
System: Windows 8 with not too much bloatware from Lenovo, and the small amount installed is possible to uninstall, thumbs up to Lenovo.
This laptop even being not a Hanswell I believe that is the best 14 inches around in this price range, I tried Sony SVT13 before and had to return because I was unable to use the Keyboard that was too flat and very often was double typing or mistyping the letters.
Conclusion: I love it and even with the downsides of the aluminum finger print magnet and bending keyboard its a great machine that is worth for the price. I know it doesn't have the best graphic card of the market around, but just to have it is an extra in performance comparing with another ultrabooks more expensive that comes only with Intel HD4000.
